3 a.m. and I’m awake, wondering why I haven’t heard from Stacey for awhile. Now I see. She’s busy. She’s always been wonderfully busy fulfilling her dreams as she fulfills the lives of others — young and old. Hm. How about the old, Stacey? Mom’s are busy and need you. One of these days, perhaps there will be a reason for all those other mother who help to raise the children in our village — the aunts, the (so called) childless best friends.
Believe it or not, that’s not what I meant to suggest when I started this. All I meant to suggest is: you are grand and as always, an inspiration.
But now that I think of the Aunt idea, I realize I like it. I probably have a personal reason for this!
Best to you, Stacey. Keep it up.
Hi Stacey,
A mutual friend, Karen K from Mom Central, recommended I connect with you. (She calls you the ‘great connector’!)
And, now that I’ve found out some about you, I see why!
First, I started GIRLFRIENDOLOGY - the online community for women based on female friendship a few years ago and do semi-weekly podcast interview with inspiring women with a girlfriend angle. We also do videos, contests, shopping and more.
After reading about you, I think you would make a great guest for the podcast with all the info you can offer moms (and girlfriends) on raising children, education, etc.
There might be even more ways to work together?!
Let me know if you’re interested. Thanks for your time and consideration - Debba / http://girlfriendology.com
Absolutely Debba!! I would love to connect! I will email you from your site!

Hi Stacey,
I received copies of your ‘getting ready for kinder and 1st grade books” and wasn’t sure whether I was to do a review on them on my blog or if you plan to be a future guest speaker on the MamasTimeOut© show? Strangely, I can’t find any e-mails from you, only an email I received from Francine that mentions you.
Please contact me and advise.
Thank you,
Patty
Patty -
My emails to you were bouncing so I had my husband forward them to you and per an email I got from you, you invited me to be a guest on your show on August 17 at 4:30 CST/5:30 EST. Per your request I sent a bio and photo again via my husband’s email address and you asked me to send you the books to an address listed in your email. If you are interested in having me on the show, just call me at 920-994-9906 to confirm or try to email me at Stacey@cedarvalleypublishing.com or leave me a comment on my blog! Or if you have already booked the show, no worries just let me know!!!

Greetings Stacey
Left you a phone msg today. Admit this is all new to me…yet we seem to have a few things in common…
Darlene started to tell me about you and what you have accomplished. My curiousity led me here. You are quite the impressive one!
Not used to blogging…know that you are very busy…perhaps you could e-me?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Laura
I will call you!!! WOO HOO!

Hi Stacey-
It was great talking to you yesterday since your enthusiasm is contageous! You certainly have found the magic formula for successfully marketing yourself and your services. You’ve accomplished so much in such a short amount of time! Kudos to you! My wheels are turning and you’ve given me so much to think about. It helped to hear you say to figure out my platform. In my attempt to narrow down to where my ultimate focus will end up, I keep coming back to my desire to utilize my creativity and my elementary teaching experience.
After considerable thought, I think I need to develop short workshops for kids and their moms. The fee will include the product that is related to the event. For example, I’ll offer a one time cooking class for Mom or Grandma and child (or Dads and others) and together they will bake with me. As a take-along, they will receive my “Mommy’s Kitchen Helper” apron with kid-friendly utensils in the pockets along with the recipe. I can do the same for a read aloud session, including my “Read To Me” bags.
Your thoughts?
Louise Paris
Louise — it’s wonderful and timely!!! With all the trend being staycations, getting back to basics, and with the Obama’s having grandma move in the White House — “granny nanny” are foremost in the spotlight! Your idea would be perfecrt!!! I can’t wait to hear more…

I was humbled by the lovely review posted on Consumer Queen.com!! WOW!
Hi Stacey,
I am very very new to starting an online business and am just amazed at what you have accomplished. Congratulations! You are definitely an inspiration.
I have looked over the Getting Ready For Kindergarten Book sample pages on your website. I think they are great to say the least. I put together learning baskets and was working on one for Kindergarten Readiness. After looking over quite a few books I think your book is the most qualified one to use in my baskets. I will be purchasing them here shortly.
I wish you continued success with your books and publishing company. =)
Dori -

Wow…………… you are SO famous, I can hardly believe where life has taken you! We are so proud of you and just realize how much we have missed having you in our lives.
Hugs to the girls!
What a journey!!! If I remember right, it was YOUR idea to go see that Oprah show and something happened that day sitting in her studio audience, it only took me 10 years to take that first step, BUT I would never have done it without YOUR LOVE and BELIEF in ME! Thank you DEB, for helping me have the courage to BELIEVE in ME too! I love you!!!
Hugs to you all too!

Hi Stacey,
I attended a conference recently, and received some paperwork from you about “Homework for Parents.” I would like to hand it out at Kindergarten screening but wasn’t sure if that would be ok? If you could e-mail me back and let me know that would be great!
Thank you,
Jennifer

Josephine -
You are so sweet!!! I am so glad we connected. YOU have an amazing story. I would love to feature your story on our blog!!! As readers of my blog know, I am a germ freak and your glovies would have been perfect for traveling, shopping, potty training and public bathroom trips when my kids were young. Check them out at http://www.mymomknowsbest.com/
Hi Stacey-
I’m so glad we had the opportunity to meet at the NAWBO event.
Thank you for the names of your reps so I can connect with them.
I already received a positive response from my email to one of them. I’ll also continue to work with Terri, my high school friend who owns School-Pak. She has done amazing things with her business over the years!
Hopefully we’ll run into each other again in the nearby future.
Thanks again for all of your help.
Warmly,
Louise Paris
I was so happy to FINALLY put a face to a voice!! I am so glad we connected and look forward to continuing the conversation. I will definitely continue to introduce you to connections that will help you carve out a niche for your wonderful products. WOO HOO!

I love your books. Please let me know if you come out with one for second and third grade. Susan
Thank you so much!!! I will definitely keep you posted. The 2nd and 3rd grade books are written but I am waiting for the Department of Education to approve those national standards by each grade so that we are in compliance. Another hold up is also the cost of all the illustrations and printing…!
I am dedicating our 2nd Grade book to a local fan who attended my first school presentation in 2004 and told me he wanted to be a “book writer” when he grew up. We had an amazing conversation that today still gives me goose bumps. It was one of those meetings that will always be crystal clear in my mind. He reached out and grabbed my arm because he was so excited to talk about reading and writing. I felt that he touched me with greatness!!! He gave me the chills and I was so in awe of him. He had that affect on many people! Tragically, he was killed on his way to the mailbox, across a busy street. He was hoping to receive the final release of a trilogy that he was impatient to read and a new game that he was excited to play. His love for reading was contagious and his family has created an annual book drive in his name to keep that spirit alive! So I am anxious to release the next book too!
Thanks for your interest!
